How do subscriptions work?
Subscribing to Sheffield Made is super simple.
- First choose the items you want to receive on subscription.
- Go to checkout
- You will be given the option to subscribe to the whole basket. Select your subscription timetable and purchase.
These items will then be automatically ordered each week/fortnight/month as you have designated.
You can cancel the subscription, add items, remove items or pause at any time by logging into your account.
I’ll provide you with a code so you can add one – off items to your subscription without being charged additional delivery fees, provided you select the same delivery date.
How do you ensure freshness and quality?
Think of me, and the stores I work with, as your own personal shoppers. Quality and freshness is super important to us all as it helps ensure customer satisfaction. We need you!
Once you place your order, the details are shared with each individual trader you have ordered goods from. They then work on fulfilling your order.
On the day of delivery, I will collect, collate and quality assure your order and deliver to your door the same day.
This means perishable and short life products are as fresh as if you shopped yourself that day.
What do you charge for delivery?
Delivery currently costs £5. This includes the collection of your items from each store/shop, quality assurance of each item and delivery to your door.
What days and where do you deliver to?
Sheffield Made currently offer local deliver to postcodes S1, S2, S3, S6, S7, S8, S10, S11, S17, S18 and S32 2. We are adding new post code areas all the time. If you post code isn’t shown, let us know and we’ll get back in touch when it is.
We currently offer deliveries Thursday and Friday between 12noon and 10pm.
The exact slot can be chosen on checkout.
How long between placing an order and delivery?
Currently deliveries take a minimum of 2.5 days. The latest date for delivery the same week is Tuesday afternoon.
Don’t think you’ll remember? You can always create your own bespoke subscription for regular deliveries (see other FAQ question).
We work with small, artisan producers and stores who require a little lead in time to ensure they can fulfil your order. The good news is this means they very rarely need to make substitutions.
Do I need to be in for my delivery?
Ideally someone should be in to receive the goods, especially if there are perishable items. We are able to leave deliveries in a safe place (please put details in the order notes section), however we can’t take responsibility for any spoilage, theft or damage to goods once we have left them.
Do you have a minimum order value
Minimum order value for local delivery is £20
